Rev. Mark McLennan



Mark has served the Presbyterian Church in Canada for over 37 years, in charges from Alberta to Nova Scotia.

For the most part, Mark sees himself as a preacher, pastor and storyteller.   Mark has moderated several presbyteries and two Synods. He has also been a presbytery clerk on several occasions.  He is completing a term on the Assembly Council this spring.

Susan, Mark’s wife, is the current National President of the W.M.S.  When relaxing, he enjoys harness racing, live theatre, choral singing, cooking,  and fine dining.

John was called to St. Andrew’s, Newmarket in 2003 and retired from active ministry at the end of October 2009 to Exeter ON.  In his forty one years of ministry he served in a variety of settings – church planting, (Thompson, Man.); rural, (Knox-Calvin, Harriston, ON ); and urban settings (Associate Minister at St. Andrew’s Kitchener; Lead Minister at Knox Waterloo and First Presbyterian Collingwood. While at Knox Waterloo, John worked for 8 years in a team ministry with his wife Dorothy.  For 11 years (’88-’99) John was on staff at the Interfaith Pastoral Counseling Centre in Kitchener a center that trained theological students and clergy and others seeking counseling certification.  John served as the Centre’s Executive Director for 9 of those years.  John cultivated an interest in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a past Clinical Member and Supervisor of the American and Ontario Associations for Marriage and Family Therapy (1980-2003) and a past member and Teaching Supervisor of the Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice and Education.  While at Interfaith, he was adjunct faculty at Waterloo Lutheran Seminary.  For 19 ½ years John was adjunct faculty at Knox College in Toronto lecturing in pastoral theology and served as Interim Director of Academic Programs there for two years 2011 – 12.

John is a son of the manse, born to the Rev. W. A. (Bill) Henderson and Peggy Henderson and eldest of four children, Marg, Sandy and Clara.

John has served as Moderator in every Presbytery in which he served and Clerk of two Presbyteries as well as on many Presbytery and national Church committees.

John was married to Dorothy in 1968 and together they have three children – Sonya (Andrew) Zalameda, Kaya and Noah; Joel (Joanna); and Daniel (Heather).

Bruce R. Price  CPA CA



Bruce has been a Chartered Professional Accountant in public practice for over 40 years serving small businesses, not-for-profit organizations and individuals in the Owen Sound area. Bruce has served as the Chair of the Owen Sound hospital, President of the Chamber of Commerce, a director of the Bruce Trail Conservancy, general manager of an international touring children’s choir and continues to be active in other local charities. He and his wife Janet are active members of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Owen Sound for 30 years. He is an elder and both he and his wife Janet sing in the church choir as well as a regional choir. Janet is a piano teacher as well as a provincial award winning quilter. She unofficially manages the church’s active group of quilters. When Bruce is not also sharing his accounting skills with the Presbytery of Grey Bruce Maitland and Huron Feathers Camp he enjoys music, cooking, the outdoors, woodworking and their 4 grandchildren.
